Final Log: To whomever finds this log... I wish you the best of luck. There is a raft on the easternmost side of this island. I hope you are able to leave this unforgiving place...

Game Features:

- A classic metroidvania style map and progression.

- A big map filled with enemies and different biomes.

- 1 hour of play time!

- And much, much more!

About the Dev:

Hi! I am a 15 year old who likes to make games in his free time. It took me about 6 months to make this game. I know it's not that impressive of a game but I am still proud of it as this is my first game that lasts over 10 minutes. This game was heavily inspired by Hollow Knight and some elements were inspired by The Forest and Sons Of The Forest. I was planning on adding more to this game but this project has become way to big for me. I didn't take the time to organize anything and all of the project files are a mess. Maybe in the future I will return to it.

WOW I can’t believe you’re only 15! This was great!!! Great art style, concept, and player movement.

some feedback:

increase “coyote” jump time - I.e. allow the player to still jump even if a couple of pixels off of a ledge. Many times I tried to jump right from the edge of a ledge and it wouldn’t register my jump. It will feel a lot better

enemy hit boxes - expand them a bit. Or maybe better, extend your attack range. You have to get super close to register a hit, which makes it impossible to avoid damage a lot of the time

Add longer invincibility frames after getting hit

on the map, actually fill in the terrain vs the sky/background. All the lines get kind of confusing. Also markers for save points and other important things

for health pickups- make them auto-pickup just by touching them rather than having to press a button. This confused me for a while

but ya those are just little tweaks, overall this is crazy impressive

Thank you for the feedback! I wasn’t really expecting anyone to play this game, let alone leave some feedback. I will definitely have to go in and add these things to the game. Great suggestions!
